The Chef Truck is a phenomenal stop if you're looking for something to soak up all the alcohol. Or if you're in need of a snack. I was the latter. I needed a noncommittal pre-dinner snack. I settled for the pork medianoche sandwich ($17). It's stacked with roasted mojo pork, ham, cheese, pickle, mustard + salsa verde sandwiched in a torta bun. Ngl, my torta was burnt. Disappointing, but not a total loss. The sandwich is tightly packed so each bite has a consistent meat to bread ratio. The pickle, mustard and salsa verde added a layer of acidity and tang to the sandwich. Delish. I do wish that the bread wasn't burnt because I love that unexpected sweetness from the bread. Honestly, the Chef Truck is the most ideal place to fuel up. Whether it's food or drinks - Chef's Truck is worth a visit.
A must when in Vegas! One of my fav movies and being able to try some of the dishes is pretty cool. Sandwiches are made fresh and service is pretty fast and you can seeing them prepare the food. Located in Park MGM they have seating next to the food truck so you can enjoy your sandwiches and deserts. Def a must visit when in Vegas. Don't forget the molten lava cake!
No clue why yelp has The Chef Truck lower than a 4 star because it was great. My only thought might be people expecting the cubano to be a classic one with meat. It's not and the menu clearly states it's vegetarian. But like the server even confirmed with me it was veggie before paying. Cubano though was GREAT! Like all the flavours of a regular one but vegetarian. Great texture, hot and fresh. BIG BEIGNET was my star though fluffy hot and fresh. Whipped cream was a slay. No notes. Also servers and vibes were good. They DMd me on Instagram after tagging them just to make sure I had a good experience. Also Roy and the restaurants account reposted. Slay.
I was super happy to see Austin midnight added to the menu and so sad when I actually got it because it's not what they had during PBR in October 2024. The molten chocolate cake was surprisingly delicious and light not to sweet as you might expect for chocolate. The staff here is always amazing and friendly. There was plenty of open seats this time and we went Friday 6:30pm normally the crowd is wild.
Honestly liked the food here better than the Eataly food court. The items are pretty affordable for a food place on the strip and they were quick too. While the sandwiches aren't exactly what you see from the movie, I thought they were tasty. We tried a few things and each one were flavorful and filling.
